The Moretti Polegato family has been devoted to wine production for many generations with Giancarlo Moretti Polegato, the current owner of the winery, carrying forward a family tradition of winemaking at Villa Sandi these days.

Villa Sandi is a real Palladian-style villa dating back to 1622 and is also the main office of the company.
The winery uniquely owns vineyards in all major Prosecco areas: Treviso DOC, Valdobbiadene DOCG, Asolo DOCG and Cartizze where the winery owns estate Vigna La Rivetta.

Vigna La Rivetta lies in the heart of the Cartizze area, between the hamlets of Santo Stefano and San Pietro di Barbozza, in the municipality of Valdobbiadene. A perfect combination of gentle microclimate and fertile soil has resulted in wines with unique characteristics. Villa Sandi Cartizze Vigna Rivetta is considered to be one of the best Cartizze judgings by the wine experts’ reviews and is uniquely proposed in a brut version.

In Valdobbiadene, another estate lies, which strategic location, exposed to the beneficial effects of sun rays and wind, leads to the cultivation of the best selection of grapes and the production of the best crus of Prosecco. With the help of experienced oenologists and agronomists, numerous vineyards of selected grape growers to ensure top quality DOCG. wines. This area is renown for the production of Prosecco, and Villa Sandi devotes to the production its utmost care and attention. The result of such effort is an elegant wine with typical flowery and fruity notes that makes it unique in all its versions: sparkling, and semi-sparkling.

Vineyards of the Trevisan hills and the Villa Sandi estates are located in the heart of the Montello and Colli Asolani area. Here the characteristics of the soil allow the production of important red wines, such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot and white wines such as Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. On these estates, the grapes destined to the production of the prestigious wines Marinali and Opere Trevigiane are cultivated.
Villa Sandi works with two enologists: Stefano Gava for the sparkling, and Riccardo Cottarella for still wines.
