Valpolicella Doc Classico by Recchia winery is a timeless classic. A medium-bodied, well balanced red wine due to pruning and vinification techniques. The grapes of Valpolicella are harvested when they have reached full maturity, to obtain their well known fruity fragrance. An all purpose wine perfect for those special occasions.
How is the wine made?
The grapes are harvested by hand the last two weeks of September and immediately
Vinified.
Wine making: de-stemming and soft pressing of the grapes. The must ferments togher with the skins for 7 days in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks at 18-20 C.
Ageing: 4 months in stainless steel tanks
Ageing in bottle: 2 months in bottle
