Chiorri Vero Amore Sangiovese Passito 2021
Vero Amore’ is a passito made from Sangiovese grapes: a uniquely delicious dessert wine from Chiorri winery in Umbria.
Sweet but very fresh at the same time. Perfect combination with desserts especially fruit cakes and Christmas pies and it will also be a wonderful present.
The grapes were picked by hand the second week of October and left to dry in the sun for a period of time. Pressing is further done traditionally with the press basket (Torchio) followed by vinification and ageing in small France wooden barrels.

About the winery
Chiorri Winery is a family run vineyard, which with special care about their very own vines, produces DOC Colli Perugini and IGT della Umbria white, red and rose wines.
The family has for many generations personally dedicated themselves to the care after the vines, grape harvesting and transformation of that harvest into wine, by combining tradition, experience and technology. The objective of Chiorri is to continue to offer wines creating positive emotions and infinite moments of joy.
Amongst the varietals cultivated for white wine we find Grechetto, Trebbiano and Malvasia, and those for red wine – Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
