Dama del Rovere Bortolo Vigne Vecchie Soave Classico 2017
£19.75
Soave Classico DOC Bartolo by Dama del Rovere winery comes from high altitude 75 year old vineyards. This wine demonstrates the true potential of Garganega!
This Italian white is a well-balanced wine with an enchanting sensory mixture of aromatic herbs, white flowers and citrus fruits. On the palate, the wine has a beautiful structure and important mineral note that testify to the volcanic soil matrix. A long, soft finish with outstanding harmony.
Recommended with seafood platters, pasta dishes, risotto, chicken and semi-hard cheeses. Huge potential to age.

Dama del Rovere
Dama del Rovere was born with 2003-vintage in Brognoligo di Monteforte d’Alpone, a historical Soave Classico zone in the province of Verona. The winery name comes from a small Statue of the Madonna that was found in an oak-tree in Tremenalto area where the Soave vineyards are located.
The winery is family owned, with brothers Massimo (the wine maker), and Davide, supported by their father and grandfather’s experience.
The winery works with 2 grapes: Garganega – to make classical and elegant dry white wine Soave; and a rare local grape Durella – for sparkling wines.
