Bera Barbera d’Asti 2018
£18.80
Barbera d’Asti DOC by Bera winery in Piedmont is a classical elegant Barbera. The wine is ruby red colour with garnet red tinges, and originates from vines with a particularly favourable area for growing Barbera grape. The calcareous clayey substratum rich in sand brings out it’s intense, dark fruit fragrances and the harmonic structure of the wine which is warm and dry in the mouth with a long finish, suitable with many types of cuisine including starters, roast meat and aged cheese.

Amy –
A very elegant Barbera, different to young versions. This one is very smooth and structured.
Jack –
This Barbera is a good company for pasta with light sauces. Pleasant, medium long after taste, worth the price. Delicious, refreshing and very well balanced. Bought several bottles to keep at home.
