Barbaresco Riserva Rabaja DOCG
£41.15
Barbaresco Riserva Rabaja DOCG by Bera winery in Piedmont is an austere wine, elegant, frank, made from Nebbiolo grapes from vineyards in the subarea called Rabaja in Barbaresco. It is aged in big barrel for a period of 24 months to develop an elegant bouquet, composite and ethereal with aromas of violet, red fruit jam, spices like pepper and vanilla. The taste is elegant, dry, balanced, good structure and tannins. Wine of good body, great harmony and great aristocracy. Barbaresco Riserva Rabaja goes well with red meats, game and aged cheeses and can be good also for meditation moments.

Mr M –
In the battle between Barolo vs Barbaresco Im always going for Barbaresco ! Floral hints, red berries, sauvory plum, tar, wood and earth please the nose. Wonderful balance on the palate with grippy (but tame) tannins, high acidity and long finish.
Tom –
Intense, with notes of jam and flowers, spicy and balsamic, already a hint of evolution. On the palate it is really balanced, with round tannins, a good body and the freshness that doesn’t give a beat. Intense, with a long persistence!
Phill –
Austere nose, balsamic and mentholated notes. Fresh and persistent in the mouth
