Originally from nearby Piedmont, Nebbiolo has also adapted well to the Aosta Valley, where it is known locally as Picotendro. Harvested in October, it undergoes fermentation in stainless steel and is then aged partly in large oak barrels and partly in used French oak barriques. Characterized by good sapidity and subtle spice, it offers aromas of violet and wild berries on the nose.

Appearance: Clear, pale ruby red with light garnet reflections

Nose: Floral notes of violet and dried rose, accompanied by fruity aromas of cherry and wild berries.

Palate: Elegant on the palate, with vibrant freshness and good sapidity. Tannins are well integrated, offering a harmonious structure. The finish is persistent, with sweet spice and mineral notes, reflecting the glacial alpine terroir.
Food Pairings: Ideal with legume soups, flavorful pasta dishes, red meats, and medium to long-aged cheeses. Also pairs beautifully with traditional alpine dishes like polenta concia and cheese fondue.
