San Salvatore’s Aglianico Corleto is produced in Paestum at an altitude of 150-210m above sea level where the soil is a mixture of clay and limestone. No sulphites are added. Corleto is deep, intense, purplish red, with blended fresh fruit and sweet spices and cinnamon on the nose. In the mouth it is rich, with silky tannins, long. Is a great companion for rib eye steak and for tomato pasta. Only 7 000 bottles produced.

About the winery

San Salvatore winery is located in the South West part of Campania, in the heart of the Cilento National Park, an ancient land, rich in history and tradition, where, as per belief, Aglianico, Fiano and Greco grapes were brought to by the Ancient Greeks.

San Salvatore is certified organic and is cultivating the land without synthetic products or genetically modified organisms.

The rose that the winery makes – Vetere – is incredibly delicate and pale, which is particularly impressive since it is made from Gaglioppo, one of the most tannic and dark red grapes.
