Chiorri Sangiovese 2020
£14.95
100% Sangiovese from Chiorri winery in Umbria – a very fresh, fruity & dry red wine with pleasant spiciness at the end. No artificial/chemical stabilising methods are used resulting in a light sedimentation which indicates the natural refinement of the product and the guarantee of authenticity: that the wine in the bottle is ‘alive’.
This wine will pair well with polenta, salami, seasoned pecorino cheese, grilled meats and roast beef.

Umbria – Chiorri
Chiorri Winery is a family run vineyard, which with special care about their very own vines, produces DOC Colli Perugini and IGT della Umbria white, red and rose wines.
The family has for many generations personally dedicated themselves to the care after the vines, grape harvesting and transformation of that harvest into wine, by combining tradition, experience and technology. The objective of Chiorri is to continue to offer wines creating positive emotions and infinite moments of joy.
Amongst the varietals cultivated for white wine we find Grechetto, Trebbiano and Malvasia, and those for red wine – Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

Katherine –
Sangiovese that differs from all the others, round, intense flavours. Excellent!
Brandon –
Pleasant and drinkable wine – moderate in every detail: slightly muted strawberry color, dry-fruity taste, saturated with a long finish. Tannins palpable, but not dominant.
