Marco Carpineti NZÙ 2018
£35.00
Nzu Lazio Nero Buono IGT by Marco Carpineti reflects the philosophy of the wine-maker to combine the organic wine making with the most antient vessel used to store the wine – amphora. Nzu Rosso is 100% local grape Nero Buono and ages 12 months in in hand-made Amphoras from Cori hills. The wine has an intense ruby red color with aromas of red fruits and spices on the nose. The taste is dry accompanied by robust tannins with a bitter aftertaste. In the local dialect ‘Nzu’ means ‘togetherness’.

Lazio – Marco Carpineti
Marco Carpineti winery is situated on the slopes of Lepini mountains in Cori, Lazio ancient town dating back to the fourth century B.C., situated 56 km south of Rome, about 400 meters above sea level on an ancient territory.
The estate has belonged to the same family for many generations; since 1986 Marco, driven by genuine passion and desire to live in a healthy environment, takes the reins and makes of it a model company, currently in full booming.
The most important change was the adoption in 1994 of the organic agriculture methods, the result of the will to make products really healthy.
The company currently covers about 52.5 hectares, of which 41 are planted with vineyards and 11.5 with olive grove. The bet is pointing out some grape varieties unknown, which only this territory has preserved as a hidden treasure
