Merlot Terre Siciliane IGT by Fina winery has an intense ruby red color with purple reflections, with hints reminiscent of black currant, ripe plum, with notes of pepper and blueberries. The taste is rich and round, with soft and smooth tannins. The wine ages 12 months in French barriques.
It goes well with red meats, such as rost beef, boiled meats, roasts, aged cheeses, poultry and stewed rabbit. It can also be considered a wine for the whole meal.
In Italy, Merlot has found ideal environmental conditions in many northern regions since the nineteenth century, but it is now widespread with truly surprising results even in Sicily, precisely because Merlot,
in adapting to this climate with a strong solar imprint it shows another aspect of its versatility personality, with warmer and spicier flavors.

The history that links this Sicilian winery to its territory is unique and with the knowledge that producing wine in this environmental contest is a responsibility but is also the reason for pride.
Fina’s vineyards are located on the hill where the new winery and the structure for eno-turism were built. The vineyards include autochthonous vines like Grillo, Nero d’Avola and Perricone for which Bruno continues to search for original clones to give to his wines the antique and “original” character.
