Really enjoyed the wine. Full-bodied, medium finish, with profound but pleasant tannins, low acidity.

We tried the wine in a small pizza restaurant in London. Cooked plums and leather. Lovely soft mouthfeel, with harmonious plummy-milk-chocolate fruit. Lots of cherry. Nice wine!

My first Gaglioppo and it is definitely worth of trying. Very tannic wine. I found it similar to Nero d’Avola. Medium body. Cherry, plum and spices. Great pairing with cheese, olives and salami.
