After a long maceration process, this Italian red is aged in steel and cement vats for a time period of about 10 months and then proceeds to be bottled without any other process to enhance its unmistakable fruity and spicy varietal character.
Serra del Prete is a ruby-red wine, with deep purple tinges, with long and complex aromas of forest-fruits, strawberry, lavender, liquorice and leather. The taste is persistent, rounded, with smooth and savoury tannins. Suggested to pair with red meat, game, lamb, mature cheeses.

The wine does not undergo any clarification or stabilisation process and is made in a natural traditional method with great respect for the environment.
