San Martino Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi by Roberto Venturi is an elegant and fresh white wine made 100% from Verdicchio grape variety.

The nose is intense with floral prevalence of hawthorn and acacia, observing even subtle fruity notes of white peach and apple. In the mouth is dry, warm, full-bodied and balanced, with prevailing softness and excellent persistence.

Pairings: pasta in white sauce, seafood dishes, grilled fish and excellent with white meats and mature cheeses.

Wine making:
Innovation and respect for tradition are the leitmotiv of the company. Soft pressing, under vacuum, of the freshly picked grapes. Following fermentation and aging in stainless steel by applying a constant temperature of 16°C. Three months of aging in bottle complete the evolution.

About the winery

Vini Venturi is a small wine estate based in the heart of the Marche and founded at the end of the 1980s by Filiberto Venturi. The estate is located in Castelleone di Suasa (AN) and since 2008 it’s managed by Filiberto’s son Roberto, who takes care of around 12 hectares of vineyards in Castelleone di Suasa and Montecarotto growing several grape varieties as Verdicchio, Moscato, Montepulciano, Sangiovese and Aleatico. Roberto’s approach to wine growing and wine making is as natural as possible and is definitely less conditioned by chemicals and hyper-technology. He is constantly present in the vineyards and gives a lot of attention to all the details. This is his approach for creating quality wines. The company has been converting to organic since a couple of years and launched its first biological wines in 2022.
