Super-Umbrian Saliato is a red blend of 50% Sangiovese, 30% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon from Chiorri winery. The wine is deep ruby red, with ample, full-bodied , refined and persistent bouquet of plum jam, toasted coffee and vanilla. The taste is soft, with rounded tannins, dry with a clean and very long finish.

Recommended with pasta dishes with meat sauces, roast and braised meat, game, seasoned and herbed cheeses, generally dishes with a strong aromatic flavours.

Chiorri Winery is a family run vineyard, which with special care about their very own vines, produces DOC Colli Perugini and IGT della Umbria white, red and rose wines.
The family has for many generations personally dedicated themselves to the care after the vines, grape harvesting and transformation of that harvest into wine, by combining tradition, experience and technology. The objective of Chiorri is to continue to offer wines creating positive emotions and infinite moments of joy.
Amongst the varietals cultivated for white wine we find Grechetto, Trebbiano and Malvasia, and those for red wine – Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
