Roma is characterized by a complex bouquet, full-bodied, round and velvety tannins. A soft wine with a long clean finish dominated by toasted notes.

Lazio – Gaffino
Gaffino in the winery located in Ardea area, a few kilometres south of Rome, and the wines belong to Roma DOC classification.
The winery covers an area of 32 hectares, of which 28 are for vineyards. The geographical position, the volcanic soil, the exposure of our vineyards and an altitude of about 150 meters above the Tyrrhenian Sea, create ideal conditions for a healthy and balanced growth of vine and its fruits.
Main wines produced by Gaffino are Fojetta (100% Viognier) and ROMA DOC (a blend of Montepulciano, Petit Verdot and Sangiovese).

Nice strong wine. With light wood notes, full bodies and a long finish. Recommend.

Intense strong red wine with a berry taste. Pleasant finish.
Bijon –
Smooth, medium tannic. Beautiful deep colour. Full body with long finish. Dark fruit. Had it with lamb stew and worked very well.
