About the winery

Cummo Casa Vinicola Sicania was created by Diego Maurizio Cummo, who inherited his family winemaking traditions developed under the guidance of his grandfather.

In 2001 Diego bought a farm in the district of Ferlazzano and started producing wine with the characteristics typical of Sicily: colours, structure and fragrance.

Cummo cultivates traditional Sicilian grapes and makes classical single grape wines and also very interesting blends: Grillo, Catarrato, Viognier and Chardonnay for the whites, and Nero d’Avola, Nero Cappuccio and a unique blend of 7 grapes ‘Principe Stephan’ – for the red.
