Made exclusively from the grapes of the native Sagrantino, this wine combines the aromatic expressiveness and structural elegance. Of great character and personality, it gives its best with the perfect period of ageing. Vinification is made only with natural yeasts. The wine does not undergo any stabilization or filtration. Presence of sediments should be considered a guarantee of authenticity.

On the nose Montefalco Sagrantino expresses typical scents of blackberries, currants and Maquis, with notes of spice and vanilla. On the palate it is well-structured with smooth tannins and good length.

Small family business but which produces a great Sagrantino; intriguing aromas as only this grape can give: tobacco, graphite, cinchona, nocino … powerful and enveloping, with tannins that can still express themselves at their best, in the meantime (as they have already suggested) you can approach a succulent Chianina.
