£14.90 £11.92
Mabilla Ciro Rose is a delicate rose wine by Ippolito 1845 winery in the famous Ciro area of Calabria. The wine is a soft pink colour with violet hues. It is a fruity and fresh rose made of indigenous Gaglioppo grapes. With aromas reminiscent of sour black cherries and roses, it is pleasantly fresh and persistent in taste.
Mabilla will be perfect with main courses, white meats and fish-soups.

Calabria – Ippolito 1845
It was 1845 when Vincenzo Ippolito impressed his initials on his farmhouse among olive trees, orange groves and vineyards.
With over 160 years of history, Ippolito is the oldest winery in Calabria. Located in the historic centre of Cirò Marina, heart of Calabrian viticulture, the winery includes 250 acres, located on the sunny hills near the Ionian Sea, in the classic Cirò area.
The grapes grown and harvested are 100% native to the true heritage of Calabria: Gaglioppo, Greco Bianco, Calabrese and Pecorello.

Marianna –
Cherry pink, consistent. Fruity, floral and marine notes on the nose. Soft, fresh, savory, balanced. Persistent.
Valerio –
Versatile! My first Gaglioppo Rose. Dry, semi-sweet. Excellent on its own, or paired with French fries! We’ve had it now with some spicy Bahn Mi sandwiches, and with some traditional Italian cuisine. Excellent price, too!
Angelo –
Rose from Gaglioppo grape. Color from orange wine. Floral nose, with a wide and enveloping but quite fine range. In the mouth, explosion of citrus and phloral scents, with a discreet acid shoulder. A little short but nice to drink.
Ilaria –
Fresh and light. Excellent for aperitifs or raw seafood
