£14.90 £11.92
Liber Pater Cirò Rosso Classico Superiore DOC by Ippolito 1845 winery, located in the famous Ciro area of Calabria is a ruby red wine with light purple hues. It has complex aromas of wild berries, violets, spices and a soft note of oak coming from barrique ageing. It is a full-bodied, rich and velvety wine.
Liber Pater is made with a careful selection of grapes followed by a long maceration on the skins and then by a refinement in French oak barrels for 8 months. The wine is delightful with beef, well seasoned main dishes and mature cheeses.

My first tasting of the Calabria Gaglioppo grape. Aromatic wine, very fruity, soft tannins, full body and very tasty to my palate. Thanks !!!
James –
Complex wine, tannic leaving the mouth very dry, but very pleasant. Aroma of red fruits in jam, mushrooms, gorgonzola cheese.
Boris –
Intense red with aromas of red and purple fruit. Structured, full-bodied and with remarkable personality. Recommended with meat or game.
