Fina Syrah 2020
Syrah Terre Siciliane IGT by Fina winery reflects intense aromas of blackberries and violets. Colour is one of its main virtues, it is intense and deep, a red with shades that tend to dark purple. In the mouth the flavour is that of a robust and well structured wine; with hints of small black fruits and spices, in particular black pepper stands out. The wine represents a good structure and persistence, it is soft and quite fresh with medium tannins.
This Syrah goes well with aged cheeses and meat, with pasta with tomato sauce, game such as venison or wild boar and all baked red meats in general, as well as with stewed meat.
How is the wine made?
Fermentation: In steel; Aging: In steel, twelve months in barrique.
About the winery
“Character” is the password of Bruno Fina and his family. Fina’s wines are the result of land that is loved and fought for, they have the taste of the passion and of the dedication of the work in the vineyard.
The history that links this Sicilian winery to its territory is unique and with the knowledge that producing wine in this environmental contest is a responsibility but is also the reason for pride.
Fina’s vineyards are located on the hill where the new winery and the structure for eno-turism were built. The vineyards include autochthonous vines like Grillo, Nero d’Avola and Perricone for which Bruno continues to search for original clones to give to his wines the antique and “original” character.
