The wine is pale greenish-yellow with delicate notes of jasmine, pear and passion fruit. A crisp, dry white that weaves citrus, floral and honeyed exotic fruit. Wonderfully appealing and easy to drink while surprisingly complex.

Ideal with sushi or with Pacific Rim style dishes, perfect as an aperitif or even with fruit or light pastry deserts.

Vinification details: the wine rests on the lees for eight months to add structure and complexity. Malolactic conversion is partial, depending on the natural acidity of the vintage. Before bottling, the wine is lightly filtered and stored at cellar temperature until it is ready to be released.

Cantine di Marzo

Di Somma family embarked on an ambitious program of development of Cantine di Marzo winery in 2009 with the goal of expressing the four hundred year old tradition of one of Italy’s oldest wineries, the first to have ever produced the Greco di Tufo wine.

The winery is structured over many levels with a drop of more than 20 meters allowing the use of gravity when moving the must and the wine. Wine making process is followed very carefully so that the wine may express all the personality given by the territory.

The main wines currently produced by the winery are Greco di Tufo, Fiano and Taurasi.

  1. 5 out of 5

    Giampiero

A wine of great depth. The color is light yellow with greenish reflections. The nose shows floral notes and Mediterranean scrub, followed by aromas of white fruit and exotic fruit. On the palate, the citrus notes blend with an elegant floral nuance. Congratulations to this ancient and precious cellar !!!

  2. 4 out of 5

    Alessandro

Crystalline, intense straw yellow, little sense. Medium intense on the nose, mineral, light hydrocarbon, slightly smoky, dried fruit, almond, balsamic, herbaceous, sage, dried chamomile, delicate citrus, lime. Complex is bodily. Balanced.

    Janis

What an expressive minerality! A wine for the true lovers of fresh, mineral wines.
