Gaffino in the winery located in Ardea area, a few kilometres south of Rome, and the wines belong to Roma DOC classification.
The winery covers an area of 32 hectares, of which 28 are for vineyards. The geographical position, the volcanic soil, the exposure of our vineyards and an altitude of about 150 meters above the Tyrrhenian Sea, create ideal conditions for healthy and balanced growth of the vine and its fruits.
All wines are produced from own grapes from the land on which three generations have walked and worked. Gaffino puts their name on the bottles so that in each of them you can recognize the passion with which the family work in the vineyards and the cellar where the wines are born, modern but with a long-standing heart.
Main wines produced by Gaffino are Fojetta (100% Viognier), Opimiam (100% Syrah) and three wines that are blends of Cabernet, Merlot, Cesanese and Petit Verdot – Tubbo, ROMA DOC and Buon Bastardo.
